Green Exterior/Red & Black Interior

Someone was asking about gold with red interior. Can I pull this interior off in my emerald green Merc? Or should I paint the car black like I have been thinking of doing?

 

Nope!

do something that compliments the green. It'll look like one of those goofy christmas candy canes.

Black and white would look good!

 

If you do it, hire girls to wear red velvet mini-dresses with white fur trim to stand around the car and letter the back in script "Ho-ho-ho" ....


Now replace the red with white, and you've got something.

 

I picked up the red and black interior with the intention of painting the car black, changing the sidetrim, and hubcaps. But have been having second thoughts and leaving it green.

 

I had a 64 El camino with a red interior. I painted the car green. It was a shockingly ugly combo. Changed the interior to black very soon thereafter. Mucho better.

 

My '52 F1 pickup came from the factory with green exterior paint, green interior paint, and a red seat. I'm not necessarily saying it is a good combination, but the factory did it so it is a period correct combination.

 

in my opinion paint black with the red interior, if you paint green then do a diff color inerior

haha! yeah.. just remember not to swallow the seeds or a watermelon will grow inside you, then you are screwed.
