I have never seen the amount of Studebaker Ads in one spot as there are on this thread....very impressive guys ...are all these Ads from your own collections?? There all in great , perfect, condition ... I have a fairly large magazine ad collection myself when ever I get old magazine's I remove most all ads , mostly auto related, mostly old National Geographic , Life, Mechanic Illustrated and the like... I have car ads from early 1900's to the late 60's , Harley Davidson 1930's to 60's travel ads train ,bus,...just alot of ads .....anyways keep on posting...oh ya I own a 1950 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe , among other vintage cars, that's why I'm impressed with all of the Stude ads...Thanks

I mostly lift the things I post here from other sites. I do have some real examples of the '44-45 ads. When I was teaching I always displayed the '45 ad. I asked the students what was so special about Christmas in 1945. I told them to talk with their folks about it. The longer I taught the fewer kids/families could answer. I retired in 2000. I probably would not be allowed display it in my classroom now.

It's been a while since this thread has been used....to bad ,it had some really cool stuff on it ....and some good participant's...I posted on here myself quite often and in doing so I ended up communicating quite often with the originator of the thread , Steffen Jobst of Germany, through PM messages...that is until he was banned....
Disclaimer: I am in no involved with any of the aspects or am I discrediting any one involved in the discussion and or dissension of the ban...and I am not trying to start or cause any rekindling of the past...with that said...I will say that I have been in contact with Steffen through e-mail and we communicate back and forth, even sent me some vintage car magazines from Germany, I do realize that this is all OT ...but I do know that Steffen had some guy's that enjoyed seeing his posts also.....so to you I just wanted to share some pictures that I have received from Steffen and his wife of some of there outings in his "Old Chevy" as he calls it....that he is one day wanting to bring to the U.S.A. to travel and visit some events that we have here....hope he makes it .......hope you enjoy the photos as I did....
    Thank you.....Terry (aka Rudestude) 40758231_10217255641173622_7494293756254879744_o.jpeg 40752339_2223642051202731_3575143559013072896_o.jpeg 41413756_10156543130748771_462555999115411456_o.jpeg 40632803_10217255645653734_8342115580316221440_o.jpeg 40471651_10217238050933877_8117751071503286272_n.jpeg 36569253_10216751944381517_3761696442767376384_o.jpeg 40457546_10217237401997654_695132841880584192_n.jpeg 37377526_10216883072099628_5146920371793952768_n.jpeg 40570631_10217231525410743_25457104387047424_n.jpeg 36028634_10216684778262406_3034558204676669440_n.jpeg 42085868_10217389236673426_7563023115710627840_n.jpeg

Thanks for the pictures! That is a nice old Chevy. It would be nice if they were on the Termites and Bow Ties thread here. This was a fun thread for a while and has some great automotive commercial art on it. Tell Steffen hello for me.
