I'm currently doing a Granada disc brake conversion on my 58 Edsel (57 ford)
The kit a bought has right hand threaded outer tie rods while my car needs left hand threaded rods.
Anyone else ever run into this and what was the solution?
    Thanks...

Why can't you use the original tie rods? I did not buy a kit. Does the kit include a rack and pinion steering conversion? I just used the 57 tie rod ends connected to the Granada spindle. If it is just a disc brake conversion, I can't see why you would need to change tie rods ends.

  5. I agree with the prev. suggestion. On my 56 I was able to use the stock but new tie rods. The only thing I had to change was to use a taper reamer on the lower ball joint hole to increase the size to fit the stock lower ball joint.
