Last weekend at a show a guy had a whole stack of old NADA guides for sale, they came from an old Ford dealership. I snagged 7 of em for $5. Seeing as I work in the car business I had to have em.

    I have... Jan '58, Jul '59, Jul '61, Jan '62, Jul '63, Apr '64 and Oct '66.

I've been having some fun reading through these, tell ya what's amazing is how quickly cars depreciated back then. What's not surprising is how bad Edsels took a hit, in 1961 a 58 Edsel Citation 4 door hardtop was worth as much as a 58 Ford Fairline hardtop more door even though the Edsel cost over 40% more originally.

If anyone is curious as to what your car might have been worth back then let me know... Stuff like this fascinates me :D

Oh, these books go back about 8 years.
