Projects Got My New Daily Driving Project, 1959 Ford F100

  1. Go north 99 out of Fresno past the San Joaquin river and there will be a turn off to Firebaugh, go east till you get to town and there will be signs from there. Eagle Field is pretty close to I-5 so you pretty much cross the valley. It's easy to find.;)

I actually work at a paint and body shop. Did all the body work here at the house and had it sprayed in a booth with the compressor.

I should be getting my flake on this weekend or early next week.:D

  7. Lucky! I was thinking of flake originally but now im gonna go with a white top and a super secret metallic body color! :D I need to find some whites pretty soon, it's gotten hard to move forward though with the whole unemployed situation!

Well just keep keepin on man. Sell anything (parts, ect) you know you'll never need to get stuff for your machine. Believe me I was there and was a 99er. I had a nice lifted newer truck for a daily and sold it to keep this hot rod addiction in my veins. I just can't stop. haha I have a 56 GMC I have to get on as soon as this one's painted.

Alright.... Since i've had spare time on my hands and the painter's been a little busy... I decided to sand smooth and paint the inner fenders and fire wall... Then I had to do under the hood as well. Here's some pics...

Should be wet sanding the truck tomorrow for the main color. I decided on black since it's free and the funds are running short. I'll be posting pics when it's done.

After I got it home from the flake the radiator sprung a leak. At the top going down a middle row. Is this fixable? I guess i'm asking what's fixable and what's not on a radiator. Thanks.
