Ed: I passed you on 21 in Rincon, GA this morning. Just coming from my shop, which is located in Rincon. I was in the black Jeep towing a small black trailer and gave you the "thumbs up" Would have been glad to show you my Merc projects....

    Looks like a cool project.

It'll look great sittin' next to the Studebomb. Two orphan coupes of the same era.

I thought it might be, but I was not sure, the dash was what kinda gave me a clue, however I have never seen a 48 so I couldnt say 100%. Very cool find and very cool car! Subscribed to the thread, hope to watch your progress on the car! Jim:D

Great score, good to see more Hudson's with good homes

  22. It's a '48 or '49 - only way to tell for sure is by the start of the vehicle number, which is on the passenger side A-post. The 1950 is nearly identical, but the dash and grille is different. You probably have a Super Six.

  23. Yes sir!!! Time to do some bracing a cutting!!!I like it my friend!

There was an episode of Pawn Stars recently where a guy was selling one to the pawn shop . They took it out for a cruise and loved it ...couldn't say enough good things about the room , ride , smooth motor etc .
