I see you finally got the roadster .... and a very nice one at that.

I loved your earlier comment: "Green is the new black" ....

Keep us posted on the progress.

A few thinks I liked about the car:
Nice P&J Chassis with no coil overs. It is a 35-40 style cross spring. May be cookie cutter, but they are well engineered and the car works.

Three pedals, 5 spd, Column, Wheel, and 53 Ford gauge insert, Has a cool Hot Rod vibe I can work with.

Small block. Some people don't dig'em, but for HP/$ There tough to beat. It has a Comp 274H Cam, Roller Rockers, Dart Heads, Z-28 intake, 650 Holley.

Color, Wheel and tire changes will change the character.
DK green steelies, 40 caps, blackwalls bias plys?
Painted OEM steelies with cheater slicks?
ETIII on the rear and small window halibrands on the front?
    Early Magnesium Americans?
    Early Wires painted tan?

Plus it was a good value, and I really do not need another project!

Corn Fed...We met in the NW corner of Urbandale, The car was from St Charles Mo. Thought about sending you a PM but this came together Thursday night.

If you do side curtains, you shouldn't need a heater. They are the best thing I addded to my roadster up here in the North East.

  9. I'd swap out those wheels and tires for some black,40 Ford steelies. It sure looks great!!!!

  10. Alright, you been home with it a couple days now, MORE PICTURES!

Even more nice ..... Once you change the wheels to something a bit more "traditional" that'll send that car to the head of the "class".

    I can only dream ....
