  7. Great pictures. THANKS! I've been to every GG Des Moines and they just get better every year. One thing you can almost always count on, if it's time forr GG Des Moines, it's going to be hot. My favorite of all the GG events.
    Later,

Fantastic pics, KIRK! As usual, the show was fantastic, the quality of the cars was great and it's good to see they are constantly making improvements to the fairgrounds. Yeah, it was hot. Damned hot! But there is always plenty of shade to cool down. Looking forward to next year.

Damn, that ice machine corral was jumpin'!

Love that green Merc... thanks for getting a few pics of it. I get so burned out seeing the same Merc built time and again with those damned color-keyed mirrors and radials on Eldorado caps, and then that slayer shows up and (hopefully) schools some folks...

That car belongs to Steve Sullivan, he is a big Ford guy and built that car. It's got a Hot Flathead in it

The volvo is from Coffeyville, KS. The guy builds some unusual stuff. He previoiusly built a 53 Stude with a station wagon back end from a malibu or chevelle or something. Sounds odd, but it was really neat.

I liked seeing GrouchySS's Chevy II in the second picture. And there is a familiar looking yellow '55 Chevy behind him!

  25. I see no reason to show up in person to a major show again with KIRK! covering these things. Great job!

Very cool! Gotta respect the home-builders, especially ones who bring this level of taste and execution out to play...
