KIRK! - Great pics & coverage! ... Thanks for sharing!
Nice shots Kirk! .........see ya in Puallyup in a couple weeks.....bringin the Lil Grape!
Thanks for the great coverage.
Great pictures thanks for posting them. OH yea ---welcome to Denver,LOL. Next time stop in when there is no emergency landing.
Great pictures. THANKS! I've been to every GG Des Moines and they just get better every year. One thing you can almost always count on, if it's time forr GG Des Moines, it's going to be hot. My favorite of all the GG events.
Thank's for taking the time to post great shots. We had a 108 DEUCES in the DEUCE DOING'S and that was a new record turn out.
Fantastic pics, KIRK! As usual, the show was fantastic, the quality of the cars was great and it's good to see they are constantly making improvements to the fairgrounds. Yeah, it was hot. Damned hot! But there is always plenty of shade to cool down. Looking forward to next year.
Damn, that ice machine corral was jumpin'!
Love that green Merc... thanks for getting a few pics of it. I get so burned out seeing the same Merc built time and again with those damned color-keyed mirrors and radials on Eldorado caps, and then that slayer shows up and (hopefully) schools some folks...
He was also the Kustom of the Year Finalist from the event.
I did. Let me dig them out.
Kirk, Did you get any more of this or know anything about it. My wife wants me to build one of these old Volvo's for her.
I'll only know what he put on his window card. I'll check. I love P1800s!
Thanks for posting Kirk.
See you at Puyallup in a couple of weeks.
That car belongs to Steve Sullivan, he is a big Ford guy and built that car. It's got a Hot Flathead in it
Thanks for the great pics.
The volvo is from Coffeyville, KS. The guy builds some unusual stuff. He previoiusly built a 53 Stude with a station wagon back end from a malibu or chevelle or something. Sounds odd, but it was really neat.
Where is the fonz?
Please fly him in... I like his perspective
I liked seeing GrouchySS's Chevy II in the second picture. And there is a familiar looking yellow '55 Chevy behind him!
I see no reason to show up in person to a major show again with KIRK! covering these things. Great job!
Thanks for pictures Kirk. Is it 4sale?
That is a truly home built custom, right outta 2 car garage...Oh he gets it.. and he has better things in the back burner...
Very cool! Gotta respect the home-builders, especially ones who bring this level of taste and execution out to play...
