This is kind of early, but my wife and I are planning to head out to the GG Columbus show on Sunday July 12, 13, 14. Who else is planning to attend? We will be staying in the Sheraton Suites on the North side of town. There seems to be a decent crowd of hot rodders there and they sometimes do street races.
I'll be selling parts in the swap meet area. I just hope the weather cooler than last year! It's always an awesome show and large turnout. If the PD catches you doing a burnout or racing-be prepared to get a ticket AND your car impounded! I know there are a couple of streets that the hot rods cruise on and sometimes one will jump on the gas for a second or two. The santioned race nite is Friday at National Trails Raceway-about 30 miles east of downtown Columbus. alex

Cool I am glad some are going to show up. Anyone staying at the hotels on the north side? It would be nice to get a beer with someone at the lizard I know last year was like 105 degrees out and the entire fairgrounds is mostly asphault. Someone tagged it with a temp gun and it was over 130 during the hottest part of the day. Anyone selling anything for 55-66 Chevy trucks, speed parts for SBC or 250's, or anything for a 40/41 plymouth?
GG Columbus is a great time. I stayed off Medateranian ave... No matter where you stay its a great time in the town of Columbus....
Will be there Thursday - Sunday. Staying at the Polaris Parkway exit near Quaker Steak (as I have for the last few years). Used to stay at Dublin-Granville exit but the neighborhood got too tough for me! Will be driving my '34 5-window. Stop me and say hi. Jim

Bill, I haven't decided yet. All my buddies in Ohio want me to bring the roadster, but I'm going to be on a 8 week roadtrip to and from SoCal, so I may take my coupe. See attached pic. Either way look for me or call me.

Cool I'll give you a call when we get there on Sunday. Are you staying with your buddies? They have a really cool set up where I am staying (a loop) people cruise for hours and hours. It is a pretty cool thing.
