The Goodguys event at Bowling Green this weekend was great. Over 1400 cars and three days of drag racing! There was something there for everyone.

I'll post as many photos as I can until I have to leave for work, then I'll put up some more later:

Somehow we got the "Suede and Chrome" pick. Look at us in the middle of all those high dollar cars!

Ain't that the truth. That red '57 Chevy next to us probably cost every bit of $50 or $60k and was built by a team of guys!

All day I kept thinkin' somebody was gonna come up to us and say; "Uh, we're sorry sir, but there's been a terrible mistake. You'll have to leave now!" :)

The chrome on the 57 probably cost that much. Nice car ( I talked to Tex, the builder for a while and they were the same as you, very happy to be in the Pro's Pick arena) but I like your ride better. I am afraid that I am over the cars that are so pretty that you are afraid to drive them. That said, the black 55 two door post with the big wheels was one of the nicest cars there and it was driven to the event in the rain. The owner told me that he did not have the hood open because he had not cleaned it up after the trip.
Sorry I missed the meet and greet but I was a little busy out on the start line with some of my customers.
Great event and all of us from the NPCA had a great time and will be back next year.

I had the pleasure the meet (fellow HAMB'ER) Darin Allen with Killer Design and watch a true artist at work. Talk about a prefectionist! He sure cranks out some beautiful work and makes it look so easy. A professional job at a reasonable price for once. Not many folk like Darin left out there. If your wanting some stripes layed down better check him out.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. It was about a perfect weekend.

This is a nice roadster. He lives near me. Lobeck and crew built it ... and it is very nice. The owner is a good fellow also.
