    Ok - HAMB'rs Goodguy’s Desmoines Roll Call......

On Saturday July 6th at 1:00 PM we will have a HAMB Members Meet and Greet.

The location will be on the porch of the Administration building which is right there by the Pepsi Clock.

I've included a Iowa State Fairgrounds Map which I circled the location in Red.

Young HAMB newbies to HAMB old timers, every age in between - come all to relax and enjoy shooting the breeze.

Nice. I always try to park just south of the admin building, might only make it down Friday though.

July 4th, the best day of the year!

I got my packet this morning. The list of events also has a pie contest going on at the Riley stage at 1:00 on Saturday. We may have to move the meet/greet to the South side of the Admin building to keep an eye on the pie.

I think there could be a HAMB division in the pie eating contest.

Not every one is going to see this so if we meet on the front side, we then can walk around to the back side.
It would suck if we move to the back side before that time and some guys show up on the front side and no body is there.

    Up to you guys.

I won't be in the pie eating contest. ( can't over load my system.)

    Hello,
Low charge phone? in this day and age? Ha!
    upload_2024-7-6_4-50-53.png
My wife and I just gave our granddaughter one of these small portable batteries for her carry around charger. A 4th of July gift for her college wanderings... instant power and full charges galore.

We have several old first generation portable batter packs, when she was little. She needs a smaller, but more powerful battery pack charger. Our own needs and two phones have car plug in access, but those are slow. These little portable battery packs are faster and hold several charges for each phone.

We got a larger one that can charge laptops, tablets and of course phones. It is about the size of a small pencil box.

It will definitely fit inside of any glove box or in a jacket pocket for ease of accessibility. YRMV

    Thanks for the referral.
Unless Amazon delivers TODAY which they won’t with 5,000 cars at the Fairgrounds. :D

    So will use sparingly.

    Appreciate the suggestion.

Is the Administration building the same as the big Varied Industries building or is it the building where we signed up and paid to enter?

The administrative building is not the varied industries building. The administrative building is East of the varied industries building right next to the Pepsi clock.
