lots of cool stuff last weekend at goodguys.
How were the prices?
lots of good deals on every other isle it seemed like, bought some sw water temp gauges $5 ea and 1 1/2 gal gas tank $5 on one isle and then same items on the next isle gauges $40 and $45 small tank $35.
i did good
I can't even get them to spring the $5 for the SW gauges here, they want to give me $3.
I need an early first series SW water temp guage....I would totally pay 5.00 for one, Heck even if it didnt work.
I scored a rust-free, straight 29 A Tudor body. Complete, with some original paint still on it. The body had been in storage in the Gilroy area for years. I'd been looking for a closed 28-29 body for quite awhile, and didn't want to have to buy a complete car to get it.
I wish I could have made it........
I scored at the Chatsworth swap meet last Sunday
You shouldn't have a problem finding a dropped front axle there ! Looks like a really good swap meet.
Thanks for the pics!
Would you (or anyone else) have the info on the fellow who was selling the tricycles? The one that I circled is a match to my dad's from when he was little!!!
how about GG Show at Kansas Speedway this weekend - good swap?
I'd be curious to know the price of the Hudson tail lights...
Send some of that "GOLD" to the 'right ' coast....
I notice allot of tricycles at the Pomona show a few weeks ago. must be fun to restore for the kids?
I looked at them and if I remember right I think the price was 1g
I'd like to restore my dad's or a match to it (his is missing the seat and the solid rubber tires are shot). If anyone has that guy's info and wouold share it, I'd really appreciate it!
Mac good luck with that project, I`ll start to keep a eye out at garage sales for trics now on.
If you're referring to the first picture in post #2, I believe they are Imperial taillights -- not Hudson.
Good eye. I want the Mopars behind 'em. Seriously, if anyone has a pair..
Those taillights were nice ! They were pricey though- $1000-1300 if I remember correctly. That guy had some real nice stuff.
I got a few deals myself for low $

the tail lights were expensive. that guy had alot of really lights.. everything was out of my price (thought his stuff was expensive.. but some of the stuff he had, I had never seen)
sorry, that was saturday and i was already beat, went on the hot rod runs monday and tuesday and that was my last trip in the swap area after carrying the cabinets one at a time to my pickup, i remember seeing a tricycle restored on american restorations so someone should have stock or make the hard rubber wheels for these. i would ask my best friend google.
this new nikon is a nice camera but resizing pics to upload is a pain, hope this works.
the two cabinets with shelvs were $10 ea and the small gas tank which i will use as a small remote was $10 and the fuel bowl did not have a filter screen in it, well on the next isle here was a new one still in the box another $5 then the s w gauges came up one temp and a fuel gauge $5ea then later another s w temp gauge $5 and the oil gauge $5 lots of walking but the deals were there, as posted earlier the same gauges were $35 to $45 everywhere else.
sorry the pics didnt come out
