Does anyone know of some good web sites/ chats for '50s era Buicks or Pontiacs? I'm looking for technical info for stock or nearly stock cars, parts, swaps , etc.

Spot on for the Pontiacs, now for the earlier '50s Buicks.

Rusty was right when he posted above...the AACA forum hosts the Buick Club forum as well, and that's probably the best place for straight-8 help. BTW, I own a '53 Special Riviera with a 263.

  8. Love them old straight 8's! Had one in my Pontiac Catalina with a hydra-matic, I still kick myself for selling it!

I've got a '51 Special Riviera that's way back on the back burner, but it never hurts to have good info and contacts.
