Best picture yet of my '51. Have no idea who took it.
All Ford, All Steel.
Your truck is a knockout......I'm tempted to paint mine black.
He I see where the rusted out fenders comment came from.
Your truck looks good,Hopefuly she likes it,you chose the best looking grill from all the f series.
52 Ford I'm starting on.
Just found this thread and been through all the pics, some excellent pics.
Here's a couple of my '60s panel, one with my 7 year old son matthew standing on the hood,he loves it.
That truck is beautiful! I gotta send that picture to the guy who just bought mine. He's been thinking about smoothies but your wheel & tire combo really looks good. What motor & tranny are you running?
The black '51 has a bone stock '67 289 with tri-y headers and Holley carb, doesn't even have an aluminum intake. Chassis is stock rails with Fatman frontend, 8 inch rear with 2.79 gears, C-4 automatic. Thats ride height, no air bags.
The pictures don't do the truck justice, looks much better in person.
Thanks for the comments. Stu.
I just went through 103 pages of this thread , this has to be the best thread ever
Keep them coming beautiful trucks.
going to look at a 56 tomorrow, driveway pics hopefully in less than 24 hrs and driving pics shortly after.....
Anyone have a picture that used to be around of a 53-56 F100 that was red oxide or brown with cream frontend scallop? I think it had Waynes Hotrods on door or something similar??
Been gone awhile, but back with a new project. '56 panel. Just drug it home...
Here's another one. Sold this one about a year or so ago like an idiot. Had a Galaxie clip under it. Super solid...
I've since changed the rims to black steelies with 48 centers.. looks much better.. I would still love to find a 57.. Hell I would trade my 64 for one in a minute.. And my 64 Is CHERRY 292 Y block 3 Speed, and no rust EVER.. its killer. But thats how bad I want a 57....
What year was the Galaxie clip? What made you sell? Thanks for sharing
67 or 68 Galaxie. The original owner talked me into selling it back to him.
those are GREAT tires, I have them on my Viper...Nitto Invo =
Cool!! I know three gentlemen in the Carolinas who ran shops and would use this type of front end on 53-56 F100's. They rode real good
this is a great thread heres a pic of my 53 f100 all ford!!! 306" small block, aod trans, 8.8 rear, mustang II front end, power disc, power rack, tilt lincoln column
Here is my 48 i picked up last week.

My newly aquired 60 ford f 100 4x4.
added a reverse hood & powered operated tonneau cover!
What is a Fatman Frontend? Is it like Mustang II, IFS? maybe post some pics and show how you did it...
I like the toneau cover...how did you do it? Maybe some more pictures would help. Looks like the ideal way to store some things and maybe lock it also.
I think I saw your pickup in Pigeon Forge in 2010.
Aluminium tonneau was custom made by:
My fuel filler which is in the box is now protected under the cover. (no lock as the cover is held down by the electric rams & the tailgate opens with inside latches). Also when traveling you can put suitcases, chairs, tools, etc and not only is it secure but the the cover protects contents from wind & rain as the "kit" comes with rails & weatherstripping. It can be operated by a inside rocker switch or with a remote key fob.
Pros Pick also made the stainless inside tailgate latches & the LED bed rail run, turn & stop lights.
Here´s mine F-100 from southern Sweden.
was going through some old files and found this interior shot of my 55
Fatman Fabrications Mustang II.
