    Not an F1.... but its an F8! Trying to figure out how in the hell to get it registered without an inspection and with only a bill of sale... in either RI or CT......

    yes...completely rust free...just had to fill in a few holes from the fire truck gadgets...made life pretty easy on the cab

    Have any of you F1 guys had to change out the nutserts (sp?) for the hood bolts? i just found out yesterday they are no good on my '51 F1 hood and could use some advice.

    Sorry no build pics....just bought it today.Missed my 49 F1 too much and found this one locally.It will be painted in the future...most of the body work is done.I was ready to fly to Arizona for a 56F100 but this exactly what i wanted.

    5" in the front of the cab,4 in the rear.Chevy Nova clip with chopped springs--not sure how much was taken out of the coils but thats the ride height--no bags.SBC under the hood.

    Nice truck 91Bear, I had one almost identical to this when I was in high school. I'd love to have another '69. I drove it like it was a SCCA car and kept a beer funnel hanging in the (already there) gun rack. Those were the days.
