I like it. The '56 grill is pretty interesting.
I bought this 1949 Ford cab with hood, grill and title for a paltry $500.00 this past summer. It had been stored inside for the last 20 years. No bondo or dents!I plan on building a hot rod truck for under $3,000.00. With all the parts I have here already I,ll be laughing.I got offered an original frame yesterday for free just have to pick it up but.....I have an already cleaned and painted S15 frame stored at my buddy,s junkyard. A small block Chevy on a stand already rebuilt,Ford 8 or 9 inch since I have several,400 turbo out in the porta garage...you get my drift.Should be interesting.....
Love that Hot Wheels Logo on the door very cool.
Here's my '56, I've been working on this one for sometime. I have all the plumbing and electric done and it runs and drives! Has a 5.4 OHC Triton engine with a Mustang 5-speed. Expensive wiring, hope it is worth it?
I finally got enough inspiration to complete my '56 Project and here it is.
Thanx....I take it up the 101 as much as possible as you can tell by the tattoo
This is my 56, just at the wiring stage..
Now that's cool!
This truck would be alright if it didn't have the stupid iron cross and spider webs... RRod influenced.
Here's my Bitch!
My low mile '49 Mercury M1
may get an old red style "Phillips 66" painted on the doors soon
I thought you might like this, i toned down the red in the sign a bit to blend a little better with the aged paint on the door. Personally, i agree and think it looks sweet
I'll probably tone down the red to almost nil but that puts things into perspective
52 F1 Panel
Nah don't do it! Its taken 60 years to look that cool on its own. I'm not a fan of fake door logos. But it's your truck.
That truck is a company truck for a automotive window tinting company. The iron cross and spider webs are all made of window tint and are completely see-through from the inside. The truck's window tint has sold plenty of custom window tint jobs which was the purpose of it in the first place. Regardless of your lack of manners or taste I think the tint looks bitchin.
Hey, at least he didn't mention the "mod" wheels or the fuzzy dice! Sheesh!
Thanx for the good info Rod.... but it seems like everytime I think I find a cool site, some douche bag has to hate...so heres to you crakercrap00
I don't think that is a Hotwheels logo...
Guess I should have read just a little farther.
52 on the road in a week or so..............
does this count?
">"> Just about done with this build for a client from Florida.
"> Almost done under the hood as well.">
I forgot to mention by no means is this truck intended for show. Just and everyday driver for a lady.
A little more on the average side. but its all mine, and for 650 bucks and little rust you cant go wrong
