This thing looks like it'll rocket down the track.....Sweet!
If anyone has a decent 56 roller in the NW i have a 31 roadster body minus doors id be willing to trade. If its nice enough i might even buy doors and throw them in.
Dang!!! Just what I've been looking for lately.

Bone Stock all the way to the air cleaner

A bit off topic but does anyone go to the ford supernationals and if so, are the deals there [new stuff ....like IFS, chrome pieces, weatherstrip etc] a good deal? Thanks guys. Peter
Yeah I have been and probably going this year. A few deals here and there with the vendors. The swap meet is so-so. Just depends on what you are looking for.
Heres a couple of shots of my 48' shop truck project......
How it looked when I got it.....
Sitting on the "new" frame.....
In my shop, patiently waiting on me to get back to her.....

Great Trucks and a great thread.
I just purchased a '54 and getting lots of neat ideas from here.
If anyone has any more rear shots, I would like to get some ideas on tailights and what would look good back there.
Thanks a lot, Kenny.
300 BUCKS??? sweet!
Sold mine last summer.
Bet you wish you had that one back!
sed it before, say it again-killer Kustom!
That truck is sharp looking, very cool!
You've got to do a full post with a bunch of pics of this truck, best looking pickup I've seen here!. Would make a great wallpaper if you had a nice high res one.
Just got the 3" drop axle installed looking to get the rear down next.
Stance looks pretty good to me man...
Here's a couple of pic's of my '54, back in the early spring of '84. It's been buried in dad's garage, since I went to college, back in the fall of '84. It will soon be moving to Springtown, where I plan to get it back on the street.
My 49 F1. Doesn't look like much yet. It's already had one incarnation as a Hot Rod. What you can't see is that it still has a set of cheater slicks on the back. It used to have a 332 Interceptor in it. Just can't decide whether to retrofit it to the Flathead or go with another FE engine. I have access to a running flathead and tranny from a 2 ton truck along with everything I'd need to put it back to (almost) original. The previous owner drove this up to Montana and it had been setting in his back yard since 1978. It's a California truck and has very little rust. The broken windows and headlights were a gift from another neighbors a**hole kid. It's a good thing he never noticed the full set of new glass setting behind the seat. Betcha that kid is still wondering who ran over his bike.....
10 years,2 kids later,now it"s to small.
I needed to figure out what type of air cleaner to run- you just answer my dilema
I've posted pics of my (my wife's) truck wayyyyyy back in this thread when it was almost done. NOW IT'S DONE!!
Special thanks to Johnny Hotrod-BC for the door art.
i know flat/satin black has been used to death, but damn it just looks so cool on a old truck, with 5 spokes,or solids,or wide whites or...............
