  6. I did not pay attention to the bed, simply because it was a long bed. I will look though and find out all the details.

  17. Here are some better shots of my 56, and better is used very loosely. I am no photographer by any stretch of the imagination. I have a little more striping to do and I also have a tailgate in the works. I am please with how it has turned out. Right after I sprayed the silver I didnt know if I would like it, but once I painted some steelies glossy black and replaced the chrome reverse wheels I was a whole lot happier with the look and feel like I nailed the sheen I was after.

This truck was given to me week before last by somebody from work, She said it had been laying on it's side for at least the last 30 years. Not sure what I can save from it, Not even sure what year it is.

  23. Thanks. Yeah, ya just can't beat black shiny, suede or flat. It was just time for a change, but I'm sure it will be black again someday.

    Not much progress...

  26. I had the chrome reverse on right after the color change and thought everything looked way too shiny and almost washed out looking (this is the only pic I have of it that way, taken with a cellphone at night) and after I painted the new wheels I thought it made a good contrast. Thanks for the comments though, I'm glad you liked it anyway.

That truck looks great either way man... it's funny becuause lately I keep thinking about painting mine black. Who's the yin, who's the yang? :D

  28. I saw a pic of yours after I had decided on silver suede and all it did was make me think I made the right decision. Your truck looks great the way it is, best I can tell. I think the white grill sets it apart. I dont know about Arizona, but around here flat or suede black is way over done, more times wrong than right and I really got tired of trying different paints and methods to achive that perfect sheen. I just hope this new paint will hold up for a while.
