Good machine shops in Denver?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fandangler, Mar 5, 2009.

  1. Hey guys! I just took the 235 out of my 54 Chevy and started tearing into it a couple weeks ago. It will be ready for machine work here soon. Does anybody have a good machine shop in or around Denver they can recommend? I live just north of Denver in Westminster. I would like to get it done by a reliable machinist but not pay out the ass in the process.
    Any help is appreciated!

Check out Gunn Automotive on Federal just north of Alameda. I have used them for a few engines and have no complaints. Reasonable prices too.

ridge reamer is great, but i'd say more for race motors. gunn automotive of federal has super reasonable prices for good work.

F&M in Wheatridge is another option.

  8. Yeah, a buddy of mine just mentioned F&M to me yesterday. He has had a couple of motors done there that all turned out good. I'll check them out. Thanks!
