Really nice truck. I’ve got 5 kids so I’ve been eyeballing people movers.

Might I suggest a 59’ chevy 3 row wagon? Or maybe a 54 chevy suburban? Always wondered if you could run the seats down the sides with the two long benches facing each other and get a few more seats in. Maybe not.

    Thanks again for the photos

I was there a couple years ago, and my goodness I have never seen such a fireworks show. Not the show's fireworks, the neighbors. I was in my camper just across the street from the show grounds, and the rockets were flying from all over the neighborhood for HOUR'S !!! It was like a war zone. Good patriots those Iowans.

My buddies and I had that same discussion. Numbers wise, I think it was every bit as good as years past, however, the amount of walking traffic definitely seemed to be soft.

  19. It seemed to me it was back to pre pandemic levels. The guy at the Ride Tech booth was telling me he heard this event is bigger than Columbus.

it was packed and difficult to find a place to park by 7am, and it was solid people all day.

@Dan Hay the guy at ride tech. He a mustachioed fella with a penchant for funny hats?

  24. Ok so I got the unofficial official word from a Goodguys rep that they got really close to breaking a high attendance record. Glad to hear things are back to normal on that front and people aren’t deterred by gas prices.

I rode around a bit on the trailer of the 4x4 truck for a while both days. There were more cars on the east hill than I have ever seen in the past. Not just parked along the roads, but many in the grassy areas as well. Seems a lot more vendors were outside rather than inside. The swapmeet overflowed too outside as well. My pick of the show was the red semi located on the northwest corner of the grounds.
