I'm no NASCAR builder but I honestly can't see any way some old power pacs 10:1 and a little 260* cam are going to get you anywhere close to your 420-450 number seems like you would be fortunate to make 275 ish... What kinda "tricks " does he have in mind?
I might have the cam wrong I can't remember we talked about so much stuff but he's going to work the heads over(only using if they 60cc I think is what he said) besides that not really sure,everything he does is in house. He's got an engine dyno in his shop and I'll post the pics from the spec sheet when we're done along with what we're doing while we build it. Here's a couple pics of some of his shop that I took as we were walking around so quality isn't great. I'm not an engine builder nor am I very knowledgable about what it takes to make power but as we get going on it I'll make sure to keep this post updated with specs parts used and what he is doing to it.
I came through Knoxville last Friday/Saturday morning and dropped off parts to a friend who inherited his grandmother '60 Dodge Matador. I headed to a local Mopar show in Soddy Daisy,TN. Volunteers, isn't that the team the Razorbacks have been SPANKING lately??? lol

I'll have to get my buddy to send me the pics I did all the lifting so I didn't really have time to take any. I can take pics of some of the stuff I bought, all the blocks are at his shop and we ended up leaving a 283 there and all the heads I'm going back today or tomorrow to get a set of Chevy rally rims and some other odds and ends. I bought an actron timing light model L100 I think is the number just because I thought it was cool that it was new in the box. I'll get some pics up soon.

instead we lost like 20 players for robberies gun charges and rape. And have changed coaches 4 times in 7 years
I guess WE need to talk more about what makes this site the best that's out there, Hot rodders and their finds!!!
