Ya want BIG DDDenny
My 15×12 Halibrands satisfiy that desire but doesn't fit the title of the thread.
do these count? I was lucky and found some old style two prong knock offs
14 pages of them
I would really, REALLY like to see this pic bigger! That is one GOOD looking Galaxie!
1964 dated M/T's on my Falcon, have a set of 4, but I only run them on the front, not wide enough for the M&H rears.

Thanks, let me try!
LOL I think that in this age of digital cameras and smart phones everyone forgets that owning a camera and money to buy and develop film was a luxury for most of us. I never owned a camera until 1980 a used 110 that I paid 3 bucks for at a pawn shop.
This right here...is very nice!
My 1953 Mercury Custom.
Beauty! I had also found the pic of it on the grass in your album, but not only is the car great looking, the evening lighting is this photo is really nice.
ET Supers. 15x8.5 (3.0 backspace), 15x6 front.

If there's one car born to wear em this has to be it. Bill Thomas' incredible Cheetah (courtesy of a google image search):
A history of this insane racing weapon, just to be sure nobody thinks it's O/T, shows it began in 1963 and ended mid year 1965.

Here's a variety
I just got a set (2) of these.
My old 59 El Camino, I miss this car.......
I forget exact which was which, but two wheels were E-T's and two were Mark II, if my memory is right. Both were American knock-offs. 15x7 rear and 15x6 front. These were 1-piece alum, and likely late 60's era production. Straight spokes, not the curved spoke non-traditional type.
My ol Impala
A beautiful '65 Le Mans convertible in Blue Charcoal with 14X6" Hurst wheels that first became available in '65. Hurst wheel production ended in '69 due to poor sales, they were pretty expensive for their time at about $75 apiece.
When did raised white letter tires come out? Just asking.
We already know when fake spindle mounts come out.
Hope this post survives the axe, Part II
Absolutely awesome! That is how all cars should sit. Not slammed on the rocker's or jacked up like a monster truck!
White letters like the Firestone Wide ovals and the Goodyear polyglass tires came out on Camaros and Mustangs in 69 for sure and maybe some 68's . Don't recall them before that. Red lines I recall before that. Larry

Here are my Dragmasters. I took these off a 55 Vette that had been in a shed from 1969 to 2000.
These old 16x10 magnesium Americans got spiffed up and found a home on my Austin. Wish I could afford a matching pair of fronts but they have soared way out of my price range.
I found that pic earlier too. They didn't look any better back then either.
