Thanks for the pics. Hard to get enough of a show of this caliber. Saw this in another thread, but thinking I really 'need' one of these dual carb. ram horn shaped intakes bad. Anybody got one they want to let go of? Thinking one would look bitch'n on top of the 4-71 with my 392. Really don't want something poking out of the hood of my truck and this would definitely do the trick.
Thanks man, great pics! Always wanted to see this thing in person!!! Awesome! This car was featured in the 1932 Special issue of TRJ. At first I passed over the article in favor for early hot rods but once I ran out of thing to read and I was forced to read it, I realized just bad this car is. That engine bay is ridiculous!!!! Collins really nailed this one. It's just plain cool. Sorry to copy and paste your images again but I felt it was easier then trying to describe them.
Very, very, very nice shot of the gas tank from the Knucklehead Chopper I painted. Believe it or not, thats veiling, not cob-webbing. and the inset is murano pearled. I wish i could have shown the finished paintjob to Larry Watson. Purple was his favorite color.
Good stuff Eric, It's fun to see what vehicles or style of vehicles catches each person's eye. Jeffrey J, The first ti*e that I saw that little blue T I was about 13 years old and had gone to the Seattle hot rod show with dad. I got to see it run at SIR/PIR or what ever they called it then about the sa*e ti*e. It has always been a great looking rod/race car.
Amazing job Harpoon, the blue chevy you painted wasn't too shabby either! i actually saw you across the way at the meet & greet but it was too packed i figured i'd run into you in one of the buildings
