Dad and I will be there. Fair warning....he is prouder of it than I am. LOL. I'll make sure I have some detail shots for ya on my phone.

 

I haven't received my participant packet either, they are cutting it awful close. I did email RodShows yesterday about that subject, no reply yet.

 

I just got a reply from rodshows. They said the credentials for the outside show don't go out until the 14th of January.

This is the first year I have a car good enough to get me inside the Suede Palace. So I'm just going to assume they are sending my packet on the 13th.

 

Actually, I was driving my roadster to AZ, this past November. My wife and I got as far as McAlester, Oklahoma when my crankshaft broke. I managed to get it hauled from there to AZ.
Next week, I'm leaving Mass with a fresh flathead. I plan to get the new engine installed and still make the GNRS. I'm bummed that I can't call it a "cross-country" run, but I'm just happy that I'll make the show. Plus I get to scratch one more major item off my bucket list.
I'm having my show credentials mailed to a friend in Scottsdale. The plan is coming together.

Got gigs in Santa Cruz and San Fransisco Friday and Saturday night...gonna wake up by 6:00am for the 6+ hour drive to Pomona on Sunday. Hope to get there by 1:00pm to squeeze in the last of the show. They won't let any cars leave until 7:00pm Sunday night eh?

I just checked Weather.com & things aren't looking so great for us Boston guys on Thursday morning. If I don't get outta here, you may see me on the evening news! I really need a break from this God-foresaken place!

Stop the presses ! Sometimes I just need to read a calendar. I was really in a tizzy, thought I would miss it. Never mind.

 

Well be there friday and saturday cant wait! This year we are spectators . Last year was off the hook ,participating and unbelievably winning two awards with our car! No stress this year we are just going to enjoy everyone elses cars!!

 

We're flying down Wednesday from New Brunswick Canada and meeting a bunch of friends from Calgary. Should be an awesome time, Can' wait.
