    hey guys,

I took these shots of this model A at last years hamb drags. I actually saw it from my hotel room and thought that someone was messing with @Kerry coupe so I went down and walked over to it only to find that his was two cars down lol.

Anyhow I'd love to know more about it if anyone knows who's it is

  5. Nope I was wrong. The chicken coop is black.

I am with @dana barlow shiny would be a plus on that one. I am going to stray from my norm and say that deep dark maroon would be a real winner.

Man it's so close to a car I'm building in my head for later that it's erie. I couldn't find any more photos of it from and hamb drags coverage? Some one has to have seen it?

Belongs to my buddy B Andrews from El Dorado. KS. Hit the nail on the head though drives the shit out of it and smiles all the way. I believe he and the coupe are in Drag Week this year.

Part of that grin might come from the BBC up front.
We built a 'legal' A/G roadster in my shop around 1980...for the Old Time Drags, Baylands.
Talk about grins all the way thru the gears of that M21 Muncie...I said some "Yahoos"...
...all fun and games until little bro was hot shoein' it down Hamilton Ave with some Campbell cop after him in the 'Fish Bowl Chevrolet Pursuit' vehicle...and Mr. Speed Pilot pulled the 'T' handle for the chute...unloaded the 'laundry'!
Li'l bro went straight to the hoozegow, and we picked up the abbreviated '29 R/P from impound.
Li'l bro's wife left Li'l in the calaboose to cool off for a night and day. Shoulda left him in there.

If you drive it to the Drags, you should register for the Yay-Hoo Cup. If you win, I think you get free beer and chicks.

    See you in August. -Abone.

Oh you've no idea haha. I've been building a car like this in my head for the last six months or so for a "next in line" after what's in the garage is done and when I came across the photos I about fell on my face.

It's not exactly the same as what's in my head but it's so damn close that I'm really curious about what was used as almost a base line of sorts for what's in my head. If I know what he did then I can kinda judge what I'd need to do.

Also, I mean it's a big block four speed tire smoker of course I love it Haha

  23. Kind words are earned from the Raytown crowd my friend. When they come from us they are well deserved. You got it in spades.

@flamedabone is correct about you running for the Yah-Hoo Cup. Well almost, the alcoholic beverage is always a crap shoot. I know the guy who is running that deal and he's a goofball. The girls are on you, well maybe. :D :D

I bought the body out of a sinkhole in northwest Kansas many years ago. Here's a few of the details you are asking about:
    American stamping 32 rails
    105" wheelbase
    5" drop tube axle
    Durant mono front leaf
    Model A front crossmember
    145 R 15s front
    315-70-15s rear
    1963 9" rear w/ 3:50 Trac loc
    Pete & Jake ladder bars
American coil overs w/ 200lbs springs
60 over 396 w/ dual eddies on offy intake
    M21 Muncie

The car has been on the road 14 years and has been a blast. Someday I'll blow it apart and finish it.

With all the bitchin cars on here....thanks a bunch for your interest!
