Glove box Lock Part book

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Nixer, May 6, 2013.

  1. I picked up some old ford (probably mid 40's to 50's) glove box latches this weekend and I thought that i remembered seeing (at one time long ago) a catalog where you can search by the numbers stamped into the cylinder.

I am fairly sure that the numbers on it do not correspond to the ford part numbers i am used to seeing.

Am i making this up? Was there a company that had something like this?
Anyone have a source online or elsewhere that I can use to look them up.

    thanks,
    tokyo
