@racer-x, Nice Shots....Thanks for taking the time to capture the Loudpedal and sharing them with us...;)

I'm glad the accident was not too serious.

  4. The rods let loose. Some exited the block. There was no diaper on the engine. Due to the synthetic oil down that went for a eighth mile the track was down for four full hours. This might have all been prevented if the rules were followed and a diaper was in place. A universal fit diaper is available from jegs or summit for 225.00 very cheap insurance. 20200717_203334.jpg 20200717_203325.jpg

I thought they made the diaper a must have a few years back. Oh well a mute point for him now. Glad he will be okay. but like you said $225.00 might have save a beautiful car and a pile of doctor bills, cause I don't think Jake from State Farm is going cover it. Have a great and safe day. I’m asking because I honestly do not know, don’t they tech cars and check that they meet the rules at the event?

  8. Most tracks dont tech the cars very hard. So the ass you save may very well be your own

    Don't mean to hijack your thread Racer-x, but I'am going to dump some photos from Fridays action. DSCN8348.JPG DSCN8349.JPG DSCN8350.JPG DSCN8351.JPG DSCN8352.JPG DSCN8353.JPG DSCN8354.JPG DSCN8349.JPG DSCN8349.JPG DSCN8350.JPG DSCN8351.JPG DSCN8352.JPG DSCN8353.JPG DSCN8354.JPG

Looks like a fantastic turn out of cars. Wanted to come and watch. But this kind of heat and humidity takes my breath away, literally!! 50 years of construction sites and body shops takes it's toll. Wish someone would have told me to wear a mask then! lol Hope everyone had a great weekend and that poor Plymouth was the only casualty ! Larry

I love those 40 Chevy coupes, and that Saint Bernard too.
