You say you dont love it and you are gonna put scallops on it which might make it very busy with allthe chrome. What if you took off just the chrome on the front fenders and doors. Leave the other chrome. Then scallop and stripe it. Have you thought of that?

the body is raised under all the chrome and has about 200 holes for all the clips. it basically looks the same with the chrome off coz of the way the body is formed. its a lil busy but its lookin decent

 

got started on the scallops last nite, but only have this one picture due to computer issues, and the fact that i cant find my jazzy camera that kieth gave me!! i know its here somewhere!!. i made the decision last nite that when i finish the scallops on the roof, and deck lid, im just gonna mask this eyesore off one more time and clear the whole car! the body is not ready for shiney black but i just dont care! i dont like the way it looks.

ok have a few pics.. cleared. needs alot of buffing. once thats done will do the white pinstripe out lines, then i think it will look pretty good. its a big wavey mess, but it looks clean, and somewhat finished for this season..

i wasnt sure about the scallops at 1st, but after seeing them i am.
much nicer than they were b4. and the clear adds to the old custom feel.

i know a lil redundant.. but for those followingt got a little buffing , and pinstripes done on the hood , and fenders just to get the full effect.. now i have to do the rest .. its like wetsanding, and buffing a parking lot!!!
