my name is Kye. I live in Oregon (u.s.a.) I have an '86 Nissan Sentra with 190k miles. It gets about 40 m.p.g. I got it for helping my friend paint his house. It didn't run when I got it. After a few hundred bucks worth of parts, and many intimate hours in the garage, I've come to decide that I want this to be the last car I ever own. THIS IS A GREAT CAR! I want two more engines and trannys on the shelf! I build dump trucks for a living. With housing markets down, I've not done alot these last few years. So, for low budget entertainment, I type in crazy automotive mods and read. H.A.M.B. comes up ALOT. I want to especially mention Staleg. The dashboard he built made me finally want to join. Great job Staleg, that is beautiful work. I picked up an associate's degree in automotive 20 years ago. I never intended to do it for a living because I've never been willing to risk "losing the thrill of it" I still love it. kye
What the??? This is still the H.A.M.B. isn't it? Or is this some kind of sick humor? I know a lot of the old hippies moved to Oregon, maybe he's smoking some good stuff.
Welcome with all those years experience of wrenching, and your love of machinery. I would suggest keeping your focus here on traditional Hotrods and Customs, since that is what the site is about. No worries.
