Picked up this bone stock a (minus the coopster chop) from e-bay and had it shipped to my parent's house where I plan to retire in about 4 years.

Long story short, I will be there in late September for James Dean / Ducktails. I would like to be able to take the car to show. It's only about 15 miles up the road from where I am going to be staying.

Car runs but hasn't been streeted since 1976. I don't mind dropping a little money as it will stay in this form until I move back.

What would you do to this 4 Banger? Looks to me like some wiring is first. 65834426_2522110077904295_7746760468013776896_n.jpg 66282748_2534061630042473_8543608859996979200_n.jpg 66444022_2534061540042482_9194740470599647232_n.jpg

Neat car! first thing, maybe I'd see if I need to clean out the gas tank.

Does it have mechanical brakes still? or juice?

    Mechanical brakes

I was wondering about the tank, had thought of just throwing a fuel cell in the trunk for the time being.

You might want to flush the cooling system and replace the hoses too. Good grease job and check the steering box too.

With mechanical brakes, either get them working top notch, or if you want to spend time and money, convert to hydraulic.
