Event Coverage Genevieve does Santa Maria 2009

Sorry this is NOT a porno HAMBers !
I thought I'd try a combination of photos and short movies for coverage! The show was really great and I know you have all seen all of the other threads. We started off by meeting Thunderrod at the Santa Monica Pier at 7am, I almost got ran over buy a city bus !





Here's a short video of Marco following me up Hwy 1 in Malibu !



Driving up the coast was really great and you all know this famous BIG ROCK !

Some times it pays to wait around on Saturday morning when most of the show cars have left just to see whats still in the Santa Maria Inn parking lot !

I almost forgot this guy was waking everyone up at the Santa Maria Inn Saturday morning, I just wish I would not have had my finger on the microphone !! Right under Bigdaddys room !

 

Great shots, its amazing that 10 people can post pictures of the same event and they all look like different events good job guys.. the rock is called Point Mugu, I spent 2 years station at the navy base there and that tunnel is called Gaviota pass, good surfing about 1 mile south of it.

On Sunday Morning Nina and I took a drive over to Guadalupe and went to the end of the road to the Sand Dunes, Really cold and windy but worth the back roads drive !







Here's the town of Guadalupe, not much to it but worth checking out.

Great pictures, I enjoyed the videos too. Great show , looks like it's loaded with high quality cars. That green 50 Ford looks fantastic for being so subtle.

Why do the Santa Monica Pier pictures make me hum the Three's Company theme?
