Where can I get a rebuilt kit for a late 50's Chevy generator? I'm having no luck on line or locally.

Yep : No such thing as a kit was ever seen in my 35 years of pushing parts. Pieces only.

So what all should I replace when rebuilding?

No need to be rude. I would like to rebuild it myself. I've replaced brushes in the past. That in no way makes me an expert, hence the question. I'm trying to educate myself here.

Gotcha, So what should I expect the total cost involved to be if I do out source the rebuild.
