Golly, I suppose I'm opening myself up to a blast - but I've had nothing but good experiences with the Gearhead people in Iowa.

by dragging a 4 1/2 month old post out, you most likely searching the Gearhead name for one reason or another. Being your first FNG post , I am gonna have to say your experience means nothing to the bulk of us.

'Results may vary' - I put them on my personal blacklist years ago. Sometimes it is better to pay a bit more for service, warranty and product returns - but if you buy on price alone then you become their legitimate prey and have only yourself to blame....

I hate to bring up this old post, but I'm glad I searched on rodpartsdealer before I made my purchase. Seems like his only supporter after 6 months was smelling fishy.

Me as well. My problem is that I started that business in 1992 and sold it to the Iowa boys in 1997. I think they started off good but have lost their way nowadays. I am not a fan.

Haven't had any problems yet and that fact that u know that its a 4 1/2 month post just proves my point that the guys sit and bash others really don't build cars or don't even own one
  19. Do a little search and you will find I do plenty hands on with photos. I even do some work for others and have for more than 50 years. Not my first but my Last encounter was there 50 Merc power steering conversion. What a Mess,, What a joke. Once the voice on the other end of the Ph # decided I wasn't just a D.F. he just hung up. Nice P.R. The customer sued, I was trying to help avoid that. Nobody won. Buyer Beware!
