Yeah he lost his ass against the Hemi Colts when they hooked.
Getting a little bit done to my car. Maybe one day I will have cooljunk
It's a 401
Good thing its in backwards..
Gasser "Family Wagon" complete with luggage rack!
Pic taken in Rh ode Island a couple of years ago- I thought this was pretty freakin' COOL!
NOTHING GASSER about that. A Street Freak at best.
Cant say I would have gone that direction with that car but thanks for sharing.
Sorry about that!( and I don't even know what a "street freak" is- getting old ain't easy.)
( I DO know who Ohio George is though)
Happy New Year to all the Gasser'ites here on the cool thread
Hey Mike. Street freaks came about during the seventies. Sky-high cars that over-exaggerated the gasser look . I remember an article in Hot Rod Magazine ,titled "The High and Mighty". Fortunately , it was a fade that did not last long.
A very Happy New Year to you D.N.D. And all!
I haven't heard any celebratory gunfire yet.
Happy two days before New Years to you D.N.D. and all the ones after.
Thanks for the education, Baron
I just got back from overseas in '71 , and was probably in a "beer fog" during the short reign of the "Freaks" !!
Back to business!
Driveshaft arrived today!
Motor and trans still out, may be back in the next couple days.
Amen to that !!!
Happy New Year guys ! Hoping 2016 is a good year for all of us.

I got this but I Must have tunnel ram 2x4

Run the deuces on a tunnelram.
The three deuce is more correct for an earlier build than the tunnel ram...the tunnel ram is 68 and later.
Did that intake come from a boat it sure has a big angle to it
Its a common edelbrock intake, just a goofy angle of the pic I guess
This would be the way to go for that on a budget
That square corner runner tunnel ram was about a 1975' new deal, not quite right for a 60's gasser
Very good thread, you have to admit I have contributed to the dont do this part of the topic.
Most cars ran either Hilborns or the Edlebrock 6 two's or 2 four's on the 270 hp factory manifold, in the very early 60's
These are the earliest adds I have ever found for Tunnel Rams...
These are both from 1968 Hot Rod magazines
So if your running a tunnel ram, don't pretend it was built before this year.
ll FUNNY : Unless you are lucky enough to find one of Ralph Ridgeways "Ridgerunner" intakes.
His weren't produced until 1968 either...he had an altered Rochester fuel injection manifold before that...
Here is a pre 68 correct tunnel ram.
Separate names with a comma.
