OK, thinking out loud now. I have an AD chev p/u that I'm going to put an ifs in with a Cad mill, semi-daily driver thing. Also have a 50 chev coupe with a Nova sub that I want to make a gasser style. Question of the day is; would the axle out of the p/u make a good front axle for the coupe?

Yes, it would be a good choice. If you want to swap it over to a disc brake setup speedway has the swap parts for those spindles. That axle looks great drilled also. I'm running that axle setup in my 60 Falcon with a Vega steering box, cross steer setup, works awesome, and stops on a dime with the disc conversion. Its been well over 100mph and was very stable. Make sure to check the kingpins for wear.
