Need to upgrade my torches. Looking for advice on what is the best on the market right now. seems everything comes from abroad.

My use is cutting, heating & welding.

Don't need gauges...just a new torch set up.

I think the "good" brands have good torches. The trick is to find one that fits you and the work you do. Try them out, if you can.

I have a Dillon and like it, while I know other's don't like them. Added a used conventional torch too a while back, for easier access when the Dillon is too big.

My brother is still using my dad's WW2 torch set that my dad bought at a surplus sale . He has had it rebuilt once. Buy American , buy it forever.
Buy off shore crap and buy it every couple of years.

For cutting you need a large torch. For heating it's best to get a Rosebud and it takes a lot more oxygen but heats a lot better. The thing about welding though is the thickness you usually weld. If you use a mig for most thicker welding, you might want to look at some of the smaller "aviation" torches. They give you a lot better control and impart less heat into the sheetmetal.
