GAS RONDA is my real name

new here and I was given the namesake of Gas Ronda in 1967, my dad raced in washington state with Gas Ronda.when I was born my dad was friends with him and I was named Ronda.Ive always known who he was but dont remember meeting him I was really little. Somewhere my dad has a poster autographed for me but we cant find it antwhere,my father has fallen ill with brain damage and he cant remember anything.my reason for posting here is to try to find a picture of his car maybe signed.His legacy of racing runs deep in my family and I would treasure such a picture. I tell friends my story about being at the drag track when I was little but a picture would be so much better. Any info apreciated!! Ronda

Gas (the actual Gas) and I are fairly good friends. I'll relay your story to him when I see him at the Winternationals later this month. Gas and I are recreating the Thunderbolt he drove in 64 to win the championship, same one as in my avatar.

There is a huge vintage race following on this forum with a bunch of great folks that would be more than happy to help you out. It would help out if you could tell us what kind of car your dad drove as well the years he was in the car, and the track. Drop me a P.M. if I can be of anymore help.
