Ok. This is a long story..ok. Here goes. Built this 36 Buick...made a lot of changes over the years,,Met Gary Meadors at Good Guys PA....he loved the car ,,made the Good Guys Gazette....had a blast that day.... My build from 1990-91.. channeled ..chopped...replaced the wood in the doors ...had a 413 wedge....push buttons on the dash.. saw it for sale recently in Florida ...looking for Good Guys Gazette that featured my coupe... anyone have one,.here what it looks like now....not traditional, however nice to see my old build still around
I built the tilt nose also....started out with a straight axle concept..I chose the mustang II for economy....junk yard delivered the mustang front clip for 200 smackers.....no amazon back then ..junk yards and local auto parts suppliers..shout out to Louie at Steinway Auto parts...,,I busted their balls every other day......
Basic build also include Harold Torres from the Bronx supplying hours of sanding...Peter Broglio on paint...Tony Signorini assisting with new seals on the 413... lots of great folks..we did it big in Astoria and Bayside..?..
