well done film, really get to know a little about him and his work. How nay here build old style rides with the tools that he used? No migs, tigs, plasma cutters, etc. Plus, to have the support of his "Disciples and many more

What a nice tribute to the man.
I have been wondering though as to when he moved from Iowa to the Austin area. I knew a few guys from the Austin are who were more into early 50's customs (grey area cars as Skotz called them) but have always been terrible on names. You would see them at some of the Austin area events that weren't all pre 48.

He always made me feel like I was important, when I'm just me. I've studied his builds over and over and I'm hoping that some of the choices that I've made on my new project would be things that he'd like. Great video and thanks for posting it.
