Still looking for any information on this 34 coupe I bought. Built in California in the early 60s as a show car. Almost everything underneath is chrome plated. 1957 Corvette 283, t-10 4 speed, Olds. rear end. Has been sitting 30-40 years. I’m slowly getting the paint cleaned up the best I can. I felt very lucky to be able to buy it. I got it running, engine sounds great. The body is in mint condition, no patch work ever and definitely a high quality build. It’s a shame it wasn’t stored under better conditions but it’s got lots of patina now.

It's hard to believe that tire holds air. Cool car. I would put whitewalls back on it like it has now.

  15. That's a nice car. Before we go any further, I'll offer you $1500 more than you paid for it.
I won't even report your profit to the IRS.
If you note a helicopter hovering around your neighborhood with a cargo net, that's me, just in case.

That sure looks like early 70s -mid 60s style. Some of the parts listed on the papers that I've never heard of. ' 59 engine maybe built in '60?

The engine is actually a 1957. I looked up the numbers on the right front of the block. I’m guessing who ever wrote all that down made a 9 instead of a 7
