I know someones built some cool shit out of trunks, grills, etc. Lets see your handy work!
Huh, guess nobody built anything worth seeing... who knew.
This a couple of pieces I made from wood scraps in my garage. I gave them away 'cause I have no wall space left.
I don't know if you'd call it art...but we built a couch out of some old truck parts.
I've got a sport bumper that I'll be adding to it soon.
I built this... it's got a top on it now and is actually a desk.
Is that the front end of a '55 Studebaker Commander/Connestoga?
Thats what I'm talking about aceuh! I want to see the "other" uses for leftover or "to good to pitch" parts.
I made this gate for my driveway.
It took a week of welding and $268 of materials.
The center of the web is a 1934 Ford hubcap
I wanted to do a desk out of the ass end of a 58 impala that was rolled. Still might! Thats cool chaddilac. Got any finished pictures?
I made a man with articulated arm.
He can hold a broom, shovel, flag or a possum
It's so ironic that this thread came up as I've been looking for these two photos since seeing them the last time you posted them and NOT copying them. I haven't been able to get this outta my mind and have already decided I'm going to do something similar in my dining room area and use it as a bar. I sure hope you don't mind.
Can you share some photos of how the pieces are attached to the wall? Any hint, tips, tricks for me??
Finally got a top for it, it ended up in my buddy jeff's office. I wanted to put a shelf in the front where the hood would have been, but I didn't get a chance to finish like i wanted and they took over with the top.
I don't know if this qualifies,
it was a wheelbarrow that sat in my Garage,
now it's a Outlaw Derby Car,
......that sits in my Garage.
A little off the topic maybe.....but that TV show a couple years back about those guys that build furniture and desks out of old airplane parts was really cool. Heck I've had too many beers since then.....can't remember the name of the show.
No car parts here but not off topic either. I needed some security bars for the shop so I busted this out... Lucky
Pounded this out of some flat sheet......
Clock is about 4" across
now hanging somewhere in BobK's abode!
Some cool ideas here!
hanging lamp, hard to get a pic of it at nite, its not real bright
Yep, that was it. Heck I thought I was the only fan.
I don't really have any garage art, but I did like something I saw in the movie "25th Hour" with Edward Norton a few years back. There was a coffee table in his living room made of 2 really deep slot mags and a rectangular piece of glass. I wish I had that!
Actually it's in my office !!!!
And i threw out my old wheelbarrow, damn .
I like it
An old cam, some timing gears, and a fan pulley made into a V8 sign. I got an A hood for $15 and the grille shell was free and a I need a new TV stand; so I came up with this.
Not exact, but similiar. In my living room.
Somebody did some cool bedroom furniture, it was on here at one time but I could never find it again!
anyone know about it?
Separate names with a comma.
