Last night. Hot Rod Thursday. The usual crowd, rods, classics, kustoms and unique cars on a perfect Minnesota fall evening. A 60 something G-old Chainer cruises thru in a newer Vette. Top down, jawing on the cell. Too cool for the room Pulls out on the street. Nails it and smokes the tires....! then he goes sideways Sudden shut down before he hits something or someone. Black stripes on the road and brown stripes in his shorts. I think he may have dropped his phone too. Funny yes but good thing he didn't hit a person or car. Life goes on.
More money than sense. You have to be able to handle the power and testing around people is foolish. Glad noone was hurt by the clueless guy.
In that neck of the woods anything less than an BRAND-NEW Z06 isn't anything to write home about! He's lucky none of his tool friends weren't around to see him loose it!
Always has to be one of those shwanzes. Last year at a show this pud shows up in his Ferrari, which would be bad enough as it is, but he was wearing his red satin Ferrari jacket and hat. The thing that kills me is these guys show up and expect other car guys to be falling all over themselves- "ooh, a Ferrari"... and get salty when nobody cares. Sheesh.
HA HA HA Probably not so bad in a vette with bucket seats, but in a brand new 76 chevy 4x4 with a bench it can get a little scarey! Trust me....
