History Funny Car chassis and suspension...PHOTO THREAD

Ok guys, lets see those 66-70 era funny car chassis and suspension designs (esp front suspension)..A bit too "new" maybe, but Im doing research for a project in the planning stages....So i need some inspiration from the initial FLOPPER years...no gassers, no A/FX, no diggers...etc haha

thanks guys for all the input. im going through binders of reference material my father has been collecting...Hes into 60's era Factory Ford/Mercury drag racing and recently merged into the 70's including the Pro stockers and funny cars.... Its interesting how back then the majority of the article was on the engine, and the suspension was mentioned casually usually... Also it seems most of the funny cars of that day were all using VERY similar suspension designs...All this research and Im not even building a funny car haha
