Running 4 stromberg 97’s not progressive fuel pressure set at 2.5 when running multiple carbs all at same time should I increase pressure or leave it at 2.5. Also should pressure gauge drop to zero shortly after shutting engine down

    Sounds close.
I'd leave it at 2-1/2 lbs, take to a long, mild uphill drive, push it a bit, see if the carburetors run out of fuel. If it runs good, leave it. If it runs out, go up in pressure by 1/4lb.

And of course, no pressure in the system, the gauge needle drops to "0" pretty quickly.

Pressure is not nearly as important as volume , are the carbs starving at 2.5, if not , leave it alone ....
