Here is a little preview of the new front frame horn kit I fabbed up. I will add spider web gussets between the frame rails & the spreader bars. I will also add a hidden plate below the bars and mount a small Moon reserve tank to. Let me know what you think.

You asked... So I will say I think you did a great job. Looks real good ....
But I strongly suggest leaving the "spider webbing" in the deepest corners of your mind, never to see the light of day.

Haha, I can see where this is going.

I'm not a fan of changes for changes-sake, either. As an illustrator, I can appreciate creative touches. But I tune out when the creative touches start yelling, "look at me!"

    "No, look at ME!"

    "No, look over HERE!"

    V-spreader bar.
    Spider webs.
    Moon tank.

    It's all adding up.

changes for changes sake? These horns needed to be re done just as bad as the 31 year old paint job, the splits in the cab corners and most of the elements from the first bad late 70's original build.

  8. Very nice work. I think there is a little too much Vee in the spreader bar. Just one fools opinion.
