    I am going with a mopar 8 3/4 rear. Does the it haft to fasten to the 3rd member?
     
  2. Yep... We are running an 8 3/4... Used the two bolt holes in top of the 3rd member to attach the plate and ran a bar like Kerry to tie down the plate the chassis on the bottom.. I can't take pictures with the belly pan on... Hard to see the detail.

    No, Couple of tabs welded to the bottom of the housing to a mount welded to the tube/tubes under the housing.

  7. If you look at my profile, go to my albums, Chassis Research and lot at photo 36 on page two, you can see a far shot of what we have.

    Works as the anti-rotation and a drive shaft hoop, around the coupler.

    A little update on engine build: TRW pistons, and with mickey mouse heads, it gives 11.5:1

    When running TRW forged pistons make sure you keep the engine from detonating. Since the skirts on TRW pistons are not reinforced (like the really good race pistons are) the TRW's will crack, and or break the skirts if they detonate too much.

    Good deal. Mine is still a pile of straight tubing. Waiting on the space to get started.
    I did get my son cleaning on the cylinder heads. Slow but sure.

    Hope this pile of straight tubing going for some bending soon!

    I started out build my dragster chassie on the top of one of my hotrods....
    Then I solved the space later on ;)

    The Hilborn timing cover is mounted, just need to find a fuelpump for that...[​IMG]

    I got the heads on last night, end also the tunnelram intake, get some pics tonight ;)

    Looking good just curious if you put some weld on the pickup tub thay do have a problem of falling out.

    It was tricky to fit and, im sure it wont´ falling out ;) . But if so, I have to dig in my wallet ;)

    The threads wasn´t nice.... So new threads where installed.

    Then we have new painted Moroso solid wheel :) (Paintjobs on dragster, done by a near friend Per Mattsson)

    but its comming! I am building rearEnd brackets and a other intake manifold is comming.

    Okey, the tunnel ram intake was a little to New style...
    So I have got a more correct.

    It matches the timing cover really Good ;)
