The weather is supposed to be in the 80's day an low sixties at night. We have preregistered 3200 street rods and probably about 500 at the gate. Hope to see you here. It\f you need anything give me a call 812-431-5413. been a member since 74. Rick Bonenberger

Our group will be 7 or 8 cars attending and it’s one of the highlights of our summer travels.
Great fairgrounds with lots of shade, large swap meet, car corral, and plenty of vendors.
Food prices are cheap and you’ll want ice cream everyday. :)
Enjoy yourself at this laid back, well run event.

The Frog Follies is the best rod run there is. Food at the event is cheap, over 4,000 cars, great venue lots of shade, super swap meet. Worst thing is trying to get a hotel/motel. If you are going and want a great place to eat, go to the Hornets Nest. Its right across HWY 41 after leaving the main rod run exit. You won't be sorry if you go there.

I'd be going to the FF again but my Daughter is getting married Saturday. It's been suggested that I should probably be at the wedding. I asked about Friday, but that wasn't approved either.

BTW....the jury is still out on the worthiness of my future son-in-law to have my daughter's hand in marriage. If he were a gearhead it would probably be to his benefit.

Let's do a "HAMB Meet and Greet" again this year. How about 1:00 .m. on Saturday. Our usual spot in the shady area just off the pavement on the bathroom side of the registration building.

I haven't been in about the last 10 years or so; BUT if you go and you like barbecue check out Shyler's. We always had 15-20 folks eating together so our wait was usually 45-60 minutes. Worth it, though.

Best car show swap meet ever. Among many other buys I snagged an original cast iron Buick dual quad nailhead intake for what even back then was dirt cheap. A friend scored a pristine pair of rear doors for a 28-29 Ford panel truck. Talk about being made from unobtainium; those were it. You probably won't find another pair in your lifetime.

If you've never been and want to go in 2019 be getting your reservations for a room NOW.

  22. I'll be there in the 40 coupe this year. Had planned on driving the 40 stake truck until I chunked the 2nd gear on the cluster. Looks like an Arkansas beauty queen, now, with missing teeth! LOL

The swap meet alone is worth the trip.
