  3. Sorry but those windshield wipers do not go well with the rest of the car :(. An easy solution would be to remove the wipers and find a car that better matches them :). I might be able to help you find a new home for the cast off lump of red stuff ;):D

Bet there's one person on this thread who thinks it's nicer the way it is.

I've never once looked at a car like that and thought it should be lower.

Nice Ride! So, how did the "shakedown" go? Ride, handling, sounds--lots of "thumbs ups?

    The car looks good.

There is always some people that just can't accept that someone may have actually built their own car just the way they like it. I get people all the time that feel obligated to tell me how to "improve" my truck. I smile, nod my head, and ignore them.

Most IL roads are bumpy these days, its a treat to find one that is sort of smooth. A couple weeks ago we did a 100 mile ride, we found about a 4 mile stretch on one section of road that was really nice, but the few miles before and the few miles after the smooth part, brought the entire section back down to IL standards.

Get the brakes up to the level you want them, then drive the wheels off of it!

I think the 5 slots help complete the look of the car. Don't remove them. Ive always thought of running 5 slots on a 39 or 40 coupe (if I owned one). I love your 40!
