Sorry but those windshield wipers do not go well with the rest of the car . An easy solution would be to remove the wipers and find a car that better matches them . I might be able to help you find a new home for the cast off lump of red stuff
with the rear end that’s in it and size of tires only option i see is the get 3”wider rear fenders then drop the back 5”. front is 10” off ground. but she’ll do for now
handled great. little bumpy on back roads. highway was fine ran great. brakes suck. decided i’m going wilwood on front. with fuel master cyl. if i can’t get these dialed in.
The car looks good. There is always some people that just can't accept that someone may have actually built their own car just the way they like it. I get people all the time that feel obligated to tell me how to "improve" my truck. I smile, nod my head, and ignore them. Most IL roads are bumpy these days, its a treat to find one that is sort of smooth. A couple weeks ago we did a 100 mile ride, we found about a 4 mile stretch on one section of road that was really nice, but the few miles before and the few miles after the smooth part, brought the entire section back down to IL standards. Get the brakes up to the level you want them, then drive the wheels off of it!
now i’m away for awhile. so it get to wait. need done by april 22 for my friends celebration of life and take grand daughter for a ride. keeping a promise.
I think the 5 slots help complete the look of the car. Don't remove them. Ive always thought of running 5 slots on a 39 or 40 coupe (if I owned one). I love your 40!
