Event Coverage Friday before Mooneyes ???

Staying in Azuza California Friday night before Mooneyes. Is there anything going on in the area that night ?

 

Azusa...yea, stay inside..or keep a loaded gun close by.

I dont know if any thing is going on in Azusa, but Pasadena is a cool town 13 miles West of Azusa. every thing is on or right off of colorado blvd. I would say from Oak to South Pasadena ave is the drag. Restaurants, bars and shops Ps that the rout of the Tournament Of Roses floats

 

By area I mean anything we can drive to. Car shows, cruise night, car clubs ???

Burbank, Bob's Big Boy is a sure thing but could be hit and miss on the quality of cars (Street Rods/R*t Rods/Muscle Cars).

Get there early,parking is a bitch!

There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance.

How far away is Burbank ?

 

About 30 Min from Azusa (40-60 With Traffic).

 

Friday? At Don the Beachcombers in Sunset Beach, it's Deke Dickerson, with Petunia & the Vipers, with Big Sandy DJing. Good music, strong drinks, So Cal girlies, what's not to love?

 

Country music will keep me away.

 

Arrived from Brisbane Australia yesterday and we are heading off on Friday morning for Pomona to see the NHRA museum and then back to Burbank to stay overnight.Going to Bobs Big Boy Friday night and then off to Mooneyes on Saturday.Back to Encinitas Saturday for the Christmas parade.
