  3. I'm exercising artistic license. This is not a 1961 NY city cop car nor does it have anything to due with an alien invasion, sorry. Well, I did have the southwest in mind for the location so it's not unreasonable to suggest it's near a certain "nuclear testing sight" where alien activity has been reported...
You have posed me with a challenge that would be a great follow up to this drawing that might just reflect your observation. Thanks for the inspiration @Lucius Molchany

  4. I love the '37 @rusty1

  5. When my rod run T-shirts wear out I don't throw them away. If the design is still ok I frame them! This one is from a rod run my car club never missed. Artwork is from Greg Roseland [GAR] R.I.P. Tshirtart.jpg

  6. Yeah man don't mean to bag on you and I am a big fan of 58 Plymouths but Car 54 was what it was!

Sir, that checkered firewall is awesome. You can see the moves of the metal and the recess. I know what that level of work requires, and I am impressed. Far out!

  11. You can bust my chops all ya want. It seems the car in the old TV series was white over red based on the pictures I found in a search but I didn't dig too deep, just what popped up in a basic search. Also, it's a '62 Savoy.

  13. The question Jigger is"What can you create using the 61_62 Plymouth in your art"?

  14. @Lucius Molchany Guess we'll just have to wait and see. For starters, how about what I've done with a '60 and a '62 Dodge Dart? '60DodgeDart-01-1.jpg

A number of years ago at the Portland Swapmeet, there was a box on a table with vintage photographs of old hot rods, I found this photograph of one of my favorite roadsters and I bought it, but forgot about it, and it surfaced this morning when looking through some of my stash.
Credit to who ever shot this photo back in 1950.
Thank you to all that contribute weekly to the " FAS ".

  23. Artists, musicians, and creators as a general lot don't live by normal thoughts and rules. I love that. I have built many things from metal but don't have a fraction of the imagination many of you have. Thank you for sharing. :)

This illustration drives my heart, soul & mind. you’re a talented genius Stogy who makes reality happen. I wish you the very best in this new year being 2023.
We’re going to soon need that back seat come September as the driver & passenger of that Merc will have a future Hot Rod & Custom Pilot to strap in a car seat. Rumble seats may be a little wild for little Rodders.
